Summer Grilling with Kroger

Summer Grilling with Kroger

My latest bzzkit has arrived!! This time it was from kroger and was all about summer grilling. I received vouchers to cash in for (1) 2-3 lb bag of slider burgers, 1 bag kroger chips, 1 bag of slider buns, (1) 12 pack of kroger soda, and several coupons for .40cents off chips, soda, or icecream making them a little under $2.

I ended up using these while we were heading on a road trip to see my mother in law we stopped at the store in Lexington, Ky. I had never seen a Kroger so huge before, they even had a diamond store in it..look out walmart!! It took me a little bit to gather all these items since the store was rather large....I managed to hid a few of my coupons through out the store (3 exactly) to leave for a fellow shopper to find. I choose beef sliders, bbq chips, and big k soda. Silly me when I got up to check out I had left my card at home 5 hours away and could not get the phone number I used to work...lucky for me though a very nice man behind me let me use his card. I didn't get the ice cream this trip since I didn't want it to melt in the car while we were driving so when I gave all the coupons to the cashier making everything free...he then gave me .46 cents back lol. I love going to the store and leaving with them owing me! I added the money into the little charity thing they had though at the front desk.

The first thing I tried was the Dr K soda...Now I am a die hard Dr Pepper drinker, so was very very iffy to cheat on my favorite brand with a knock off. I was however surprised it was quite tasty it still had that cherry mix taste that Dr Pepper has with no bad after taste or anything. Considering it is about $3 cheaper then Dr P I would definitely consider purchasing it again.

The next thing we did was heat of the george foreman and throw some sliders on to grill. We got the all beef sliders. Even on the foreman I could see these put almost little to no grease at all which was nice. They cooked up really fast. Now they look a little big when you start cooking but burgers always shrink, even these..so yes they will fit the buns good. We barbequed some of the burgers and put cheese on all of them. These were awesome!!! Everyone kept talking about how good they were. There were 5 of us total eating each of us having 2 burgers a piece after all that we still had literally a half a bag left which was even more awesome since that would mean 2 meals out of one bag.

I choose the bbq flavored chips since we used other sides to feed everyone at dinner these were more or a snack before hand while everyone waited. These chips were really think like the newer pringles....I hate always getting used to these kind but I did and the flavor was a good one. They didn't have any of that weird after or before taste some chips put off. It proved to be a good sized bag as well I think there are actually still some left in there.

Dessert time!!! I got the smores ice cream and it was a party in mouth!! There were chunks of everything in each bite making each bite better than the last. I honestly would have eaten the whole thing myself if I hadn't had some many bums hounding me for a bite lol. I gave all my family member their choice of coupons to try their own.

These items were all free from bzzagent and kroger. Everyone really consider trying the Kroger brand yourself. Name brands don't always offer the best of taste and these items definitely proved it.

Secret Outlast Clear Gel

Secret Outlast Clear Gel

Received this full size sample of Secret Outlast Deodorant from Influenster's VoxBox. It is offered in 4 different scent: Completely Clean, Protecting Powder, Sports Scent, and making it technically 3 "scents" unscented. I received the Completely Clean scent which smells very clean and fresh to me kinda like spring time.

The gel is clear which is nice and makes it leave literally no white annoying marks on your clothes. Nothing is more embarrassing then walking out with a deodorant stain all day.

The scent says last 48 hrs but I can't find myself not putting on deodorant every morning without felling gross later on so I didn't get past figuring out if it did last 2 days. It did last a full 24 hours though so I wouldn't put it past it to last the full term. One thing I didn't really like is the feeling I got from the gel. I kept feeling like I was sweating and it was freaking me out a little I kept checking but it wasn't sweat it was the gel.

I do prefer the gel though either way since it has no white mark or residue risk. Really looking forward to trying the powder scent hoping it's like the original roll on scent which smells great. :)

Go ahead and check out your other options and do your deo dance when you find that great scent for you.

Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+

Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+

Thanks to Influenster and Schwarzkopf I got to try some of the Osis+ geltastic gel free. It has a wonderful scent to it kinda fruityish without that gross glue scent others have.  It came in a really nice sized bottle with an easy to use to that just pops out and you get just the right amount without any over flow.

I used this on my hair when I was curling it and it worked wonders!! It held my curls all nice and firm all night and day without over frizzing it or falling out later on that evening.

Not only did I use it on my hair my husband has been using it like everyday on his. It holds his gelled hair firm and thank goodness doesn't flake any white stuff like I have noticed before with cheaper gels. I hate when it leaves residue yuck!!

It has seemed like it is a bottomless pit of gel since he has been using it way more then myself and it hasn't even put a dent in the bottle yet. My mom being a hairstylist told me that this stuff is really great and she uses it all the time at her job. So glad that it comes recommended by a professional as well.

You can get this at most beauty supply stores, salons, and even ulta it runs for about $18 but is well worth it.

I didn't receive the dust it powder free from them but use it regularly anyways and it is absolutely my favorite product by them it is amazing. Definitely check it out.

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

I received a pack of impress nails free from Influenster in my Vox Box. I got Over The Moon which are a dark redish brown with purple and black swirls in them. They came in a cute little nail polish bottle, which I decided to instead of throw away save to add my own little gems in it instead of having them in a zip lock baggy.

The nails are all precut now popping them of that stick holder thing. Each one has gel like stuff on the back. You just peel the plastic strip off the back and stick on to your clean nail. Oh it also came with what smelled like an alcohol wipe you use to clean your nail first. After cleaning though you then peel then stick, easy as that. The package states that these last up to a week, I however didn't find that to be true. After a mere few hours a few of the nails already started to fall off. I of course had backups since each pack comes with 24. The nails only lasted me about 4 days at most though.

As you can see they come in a variety of colors and patterns. All of them are very pretty. They start at $3 and can go up from there but still much cheaper then going to a nail salon and paying almost $50 for something you can just do at home by yourself.

They proved to be very easy to do task like unbuttoning pants, typing on the keyboard, texting and things like that. The only thing I couldn't really do with them on was run my fingers through my hair since it kept getting caught on the edges and pulling.

Even though they didn't last very long that will not stop me from getting these again. I look forward to wearing them out on dates with my husband, to parties, or to the casino, or even just nights I want to feel fancy. They may not last the whole week but at least they will last the night that I need them too. On their site I even noticed they bring out special nails for holidays which is also pretty cool.
