Lucky me I received a party pack from Crowdtap and Marc Jacobs to sample it included 12 samples, a mini bottle, a full size bottle, 12 nail kits (ya know the sticker kind like the ones from saly hansen) a scarf, a headband, confetti, balloons, a table cloth, string for ballons, and sample cards. All in all an AWESOME kit to receive to try free.

To start off the bottle is absolutley beautiful! It is so detailed and unique in it's own way I just love looking at it. The mini bottle even looks just like it :).  Now the smell of this is just something you will have to smell yourself to experience the mystery behind it. It smells wonderful but if you didn't know what was in it you would never guess. I listed them below and let me tell you they blend wonderfully. It has that fruity flirty scent with a hint of seriousness so it is fantastic for any occassion.

  • Topnotes: Red Berries, Dragonfruit, Honeysuckle
  • Midnotes: Jasmine, Coconut Water, Orange Blossom
  • Basenotes: Vanilla, Musk

  • Now I really went all out with all the decor for this party I was so excited to have a mommy and me kinda party. Almost all of the kids that came were wearing lady bug tutus or costumes (it really helped that all the halloween stuff at the custome store here was on sale for this) but we set up a nail station to do manicures. We played a game called "dot walk" you know like cake walk. The prizes I used were the mini bottle and the full size bottle I also got some lotions from the box I went and bought from Macys. The whole set I bought with my own money was $98 it came with a full size, a mini bottle, adn 2 lotions.

After the party I sent eveyone home with a goody bag that had items like nail polish, lady bug cake pops, and samples of the perfume all in a lady bug themed bag.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Oil-Free B.B. Cream

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Oil-Free B.B. Cream

My latest bzzkit that I have received free is from Garnier which is their new bb cream. In this kit I received a full size bottle of the bb cream.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Oil-Free B.B. Cream

Some of you maybe wondering what the heck is bb cream well bb stands for blemish balm and that is exactly what it does.  From dark spots, blotches, redness, even acne. Garnier’s Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream has vitamin C, my favorite antioxidant, which is good for fighting free radicals and brown spots as well as a combination of glycerin and hyaluronic acid. These are very high level moisturizers and would work for someone with dry skin.

It's available in three shades: Light/Medium, Medium/Deep, and Deep. I myself am rather tan so I choose medium/deep and it turned out to be just right. I think they should come out with other shades though for darker girls so they can get the same great effect as others. The product squirts out of a pretty nice sized tube, careful though it is very runny.

When you squirt this out like I said it is rather watery and runny but if you squirt a little at a time it is no trouble at all. There is a bit of a red tint to this but it fades when you get it on your skin. When I got my whole face covered instantly it was dry and instantly I could see the results. I can honestly say that it looked so good that I really wouldn't have needed anything else on. It looked flawless I could barely see my freckles peeking through. I did however put on foundation and then bronzer. When I did this I couldn't even tell that I had a third product on it's so light it wasn't even noticeable.

I really like the fact that this product has spf in it as well as it is always very nice to have your skin protected and it helps not to have to pay extra for another product to get this result.

Anyone with blemishes I highly recommend this product t. It will help you get that extra boost of confidence you need :)

Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Miracle Dry Oil

My newest campaign from bzzagent is Garnier's new Miracle Dry Oil which is like the axe stuff for men you can use it on your hair, face, adn body...though it's not recommended .

I first tried this out on dry hair both mine and my daughters right away I noticed shine...this was from one spray each keep in mind. Now after like 15 minutes that shine continued to grow and grow and then I started feeling really nasty like I hadn't washed my hair in 6 months, that's when I looked in the mirror and I could've cried at how terrible my hair look. It litterally looked like I had coated my hair in vaseline. It has a pleasant smell though kinda like baby powder.

Really in my opinion the model above is what your hair looks like without the oil.

Now onto the face I was so scared to put this on my face as I work so hard for flawless skin I didn't want to ruin it and right away the oil sunk in and felt disgusting. I washed this off immediately then continued to scrub my skin. After that though my skin did still feel soft.

Now when using this on your body this really I guess depends on your skin type. Now I myself do not have dry skin so when I used this it looked like I had just gotten out of a tanning bed and was all oiled up with baby oil. Now perhaps someone with really dry skin this may do you good. I do not recommend this to anyone though as bad of an  experience that I have had and read from others who have reviewed.

Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Miracle Dry Oil

Definietly check out my review about the garnier hydra shampoo set though it works wonderfully.

Updates to new uses that will do wonders

1.) I have a cupcake tattoo on my thigh that is full of color that well after a few years is no longer so vibrant. Well I saw a review from a fellow bzzagent and it turns out she was genuis I sprayed this stuff onto my tattoo and it looks so freaking awesome. It's so bright and really popping with color.

2.) The second thing I discovered with this is this, my grandmother has this really gross feeling dog, he is so dry and just feels like a ball of straw. No matter what she does or how much conditioner she soaks him in nothing happens. Well I got the idea that after I bathed him I sprayed a few sprays of this on his fur then brushed it in. After he dried he felt incredibly soft. After a week later he is still shiny and feeling great.

    Garnier Frutictis Hydra Recharge

Its that time again to post about another free product I received from bzzagent. This time I got a rather nice kit that included all full sized shampoo, conditioner, and 1 minute moisture replenish cream.

    Garnier Fructis Hydra Recharge

Now I really like that garnier brand to begin with. Well as most of you probably do when you get a new shampoo first thing is to smell it....well I did that and then I did it again and again and finally I couldn't wait any longer I had to put this stuff in my hair. It smelled delicious like a tropical paradise shoved in a bottle.

Now the shampoo as you can see in the picture has little beads in it these actually burst kinda like that bodywash (olay of something) don't worry they don't leave a residue or anything in your hair.

    https://s3.amazonaws.com/prod-campaign-assets/6404167871_45437389059893019755.png

Following the shampoo comes the conditioner which leaves your hair soft and silky. Don't think after your hair dries you will lose this either all day your hair keeps an awesome luster.

What is great about these two here is that you only need to use a little bit with its amazing lather so you don't have to worry about running out of shampoo faster then you should.

Now the recharge cream if your still feeling dull or perhaps not so great in the hair department and hey maybe your in a hurry, then this is for you. It only takes 1 minute yes you heard me right one minute to get soft silky hair then your out the door.

Global Green USA Green School Makeover Competition Presented by Pureology

Global Green USA Green School Makeover Competition Presented by Pureology
     http://www.pureology.com/

The site above states "Great Schools Start with You" I could not agree more with this statement. One of the most important things in my child's life to me is her education and the great thing about this contest is that it is helping to better our children's place of education and also help save money. To me saving money on things that aren't helping their education means more money going towards their education. Constantly I see things in the paper or the news about budget cuts, art, and sports getting cut all because the lack of money paying for other things.

As a parent it is also important to me that my child attend a environment nurturing school. The more we work today at bettering our environment with recycling, reducing our waste, and growing our own foods the better future our children will have. What better place to start teaching these things if not at home at school where they spend a large amount of their day. I don't know of one parent out there who wants to picture their son, daughter, or even grandchildren living in a smog covered trashed filled planet like on the movie Wall E. So take the step be your child's voice and enter Pureology Green School Makeover win or not your making the step to start helping schools make a brighter cleaner future for our children. http://www.globalgreen.org/greenschoolmakeover

Green Schools Start With You. Announcing Global Green USA's Green School Makeover Competition, Presented by Pureology

When a school goes green, children benefit—as well as the environment! Green schools lead to:
Improved student performance. When children learn in classrooms with natural daylight, improved sound quality and non-toxic building materials such as non-VOC carpets and paints, test scores can improve as much as 20%. Attendance also improves!
More funds for student resources. When green upgrades are made to a school, water and energy costs can be reduced by as much as 40%. These savings can be channeled back into resources that directly benefit students, such as textbooks, computers and other essentials.
Reduced carbon footprint. Greening a school significantly reduces carbon dioxide emissions that cause global warming.

    The perfect Manicure

    The Perfect Manicure
    HOW TO

1.) First find you a nice well ventilated area to work. Possibly lay down a towel or something to help prevent any messes.

2.) Remove any old nail polish. Use nail polish remover and cotton balls. If you have and wish to keep fake nails, such as acrylic, choose a polish that will not remove them, and don't let it soak much.

3.)  Cut and file nails. Use nail clippers and trim your nails. Don't cut them too short, you should be able to see at least a little of the white tip still, all the way across. Using a nail file, file the nail and create a smooth and clean shape. Gently drag the file across the nail, rather than pushing it. Excessive force or sawing back and forth will weaken the nails and cause them to break. Pivot the hand with the file through each stroke to make a smooth curve rather than angles. Do not file them too short: just clean up any points or roughness left by the clippers.

4.)  Buff nails. Using a white block of a stick-type nail buffer, or a pad-type nail buffer and buffing powder, buff the surface of the nail a little bit to even out the surface and to smooth out ridges. Remember not to buff too much: you're grinding at the nail; thinning it too much will weaken it. Perfect edge-to-edge flatness is not practical or necessary. A soft, flexible buffer will more easily buff the sides of the nail along with the middle. You may wish to buff your nails after pushing back the cuticles if there is some residue where the cuticles used to cover, in order to scrape or grind it off in the process. Being thin, soft, and not firmly attached, it should come off easily.

5.)Soak nails. Get a bowl or stopper the sink and fill it with warm (not hot!) water and a few drops of soap. Soak your hands only for a few minutes. The water and soap will help to loosen dirt, dead skin, and any dust left over from filing and buffing, and soften cuticles. If you have dry skin or fragile nails you should NOT soak them, only rinse them. Use a nail brush to gently clean your nails and the skin around them. Gently scrape under your nails if necessary to remove dirt (scraping too much will remove a white powder which was actually part of the nail itself, weakening it).

6.)Cuticles: Dry nails and apply a cuticle cream. Using a cuticle pusher, also called an orange stick, gently push back the cuticle. Do not force them back. NEVER cut your cuticles. Even if the equipment is sterile, removing the cuticle can cause infection and leaves the then-less-protected margin of the skin vulnerable. Wipe off the excess cream with a tissue or towel in the direction that you pushed (you don't want to pull the cuticles back to where they were!).

7.) Apply hand cream or lotion. Take a lotion or hand cream and massage it into your hands. If you have very dry skin use an intensive lotion, if not, any lotion will do. Be sure to rub it into and around your nails and let it soak in for 30 minutes or longer.

8.) Nail polish/lacquer will not stick to nails with moisturizer on them, so take a Q-tip dipped in nail polish remover and quickly wipe the nails to remove the lotion. Wipe excess remover off promptly to mitigate nail damage. Cover the nail with a base coat or nail hardener. This will even out and ridges and unevenness that may still be on the nail, serve as a primer for the polish, help the polish to last longer, and keep the colour from staining your nails.

9.) Polish!!!  Get creative use pintrest, google, or your own imagination. :) Polish and let dry.

10.) Finally apply your top coat

I would like to thank my mom for help with the manicure steps, she is a cosmetologist and really knows her stuff. Also I would like to thank bzzagent and Neutrogena for the the bzzkit or free lotions to try out (same you see pictured above) it was the perfect bottle for a perfect manicure.

    Neutrogena Norwegian Formula

My latest free bzzkit is from neutrogena it came with a full size bottle and 6 trial sized bottles to give out to others.

I decided before I tried it out I would give myself a manicure and redo my nails since Christmas is now over. I began to take off my red polish with acetone. Followed by buffing, filing, and shaping my nails. Now as you can imagine my nails were pretty dull looking and dry from the filing and chemicals I just placed on them. So I washed my nails to get all the residue off before placing a tiny pea sized amount of Neutorgena on my hands. I massaged the lotion on my fingers and all over my hands with just this tiny amount I went a long way. The lotion is both clear and fragrance free, a win win if you ask me. You don't have to worry about an over bearing smell or dye getting on or staining anything. Even after polishing my nails now hours later my hands are so soft. They feel like they have been masked in a silk cloth of softness.
